2) 'C' – BOWNESS – This walk has not been repeated for a number of years.  Ings, School Knot, The Dales Way, Cleabarrow, Matson Ground and then Bowness. A 5 miles downhill walk  with stunning views.  This walk should not be missed as Lake Windermere unfolds in front of you at the end of the ramble. Full details of walks will be announced on the coach. There  will be comfort stops on the trip.

3) HOLLINGWORTH LAKE – Meet at Bolton Station at 9.30 for 9.45 train (check times with leader) train to Littleborough Station for 10.45 start. (bus passes required).Rochdale Canal Eales Valley, Golf Course, High Hollins, Rakewood. 6.5 miles.

3) SAMUEL CROMPTON WALK 507 bus and cars to Morrisons, Harwood for 10.30 start. Cars park on the sports ground car park off Longsight Lane, Harwood. The walk also starts from that point, Longsight Lane, Oaks Lane, Bank Top, Hall'ith Wood, Firwood Fold, Longsight Park. 5 miles.
